In 2012 our club President Gene Kininmonth, started the High Point Rowing Club at Oak Hollow Lake and then in 2016 expanded rowing in the Triad to Greensboro’s Lake Brandt, where Greensboro Crew rows today.
More recently, recognizing how many incredibly talented rowers were coming from Winston Salem to row in High Point, Gene formed Winston Salem Rowing Club and is working with city staff for a kick off date in mid August on Salem Lake.
