Welcome to Winston Salem Rowing Club – home of youth rowers from public and private schools all over the Winston Salem area and surrounding communities. We are a recreational rowing program with the goal of helping every student reach their competitive potential.
Unfortunately, we cannot row on Salem Lake until an extended rowing dock is installed so in the meantime we are rowing in High Point on Oak Hollow Lake.
Interested in joining the rowing program? Try rowing for FREE anytime for 2 days at Oak Hollow Lake in High Point to see if this sport is for you. High school rowers can show up any day. Middle school rowers should attend a practice on Monday/Thursday/Saturday.
High School Rowing is open to boys and girls entering Grade 9-12 this Fall at any Triad area high school. See the Middle School link for details of that program.
The spring rowing season is February 23 through to the third weekend of May.
